Work Program

The proposed work program is designed to allow for adequate data collection, compilation and integration toward developing an effective understanding of the economic gold mineralisation across the proposed Exploration Lease area (see EL006816 inset below). The nature of the exploration activities are low-impact exploration activities focussing around historical research, mapping, historical reporting compilation and 3D modelling.

Office-Based Activities

The aim of the office-based work will be to develop a fully integrated, robust predictive minerals systems model that will be used to identify and target potential fluid focusing trap sites host to significant economic mineralisation across the exploration area. This will be undertaken in stages to accommodate both field season access requirements, as well as account for a stepped methodology approach to allow for field-based observations to be incorporated into the developing understanding.

Office-based work will focus on the d detailed geological, geochemical and geophysical collation and interpretation contributing to the development of a new generation of surface geology maps and 3D models across the exploration area to identify high-priority target areas.

Office-based work will be undertaken in conjunction with field work.

Field Based Activities

The application proposed encompasses an area of approximately 100 km2 and contains sufficient outcrop exposures to facilitate a district mapping and traverse program. The mapping will focus on resolving the litho-structural elements and controls on mineralisation across the historical workings and represented by the development of a new litho-structural map and 3D model for the project area.

The aim of the structural and lithological mapping is to develop a consistent structural and mineralisation paragenesis as well as provide an overview of the controls on economic mineralisation. Furthermore, the mapping component will serve to develop a context for the previous rock-chip assay results within the project area of interest.

The mapping will assist in the development of district sectional geological interpretations which will be incorporated into the developing 2D and 3D geological maps and models.

No sub-surface activities (drilling, trenching, etc) will be undertaken as part of the field-based activities.
